About This Piece

A motif with meaning, woven the real way. This original white handwoven cotton features intricate mini red fish motifs in a traditional Jamdani weave. Nothing is printed here. Every fish is woven into the cloth, giving the pattern depth, texture, and that unmistakable handmade finish. With a fine 100/150 thread count, the fabric feels refined, light, and clean, ideal for elegant kurtas, statement drapes, dupattas, blouses, and pieces that are meant to be kept for years. Jamdani is slow craft, and this one proves it. It takes roughly 1 to 1.5 meters per 8-hour weaver shift, because each motif is placed by hand on the loom. And a detail we take seriously: this fabric is woven from start to finish by the same artisan. That continuity is why the weave feels cohesive and why the final cloth has a certain integrity you can’t replicate in segmented production. Limited edition: only 10 meters in stock. Once it’s gone, it’s gone.
