About This Piece

Deep green, woven slow. This dark green natural dyed handwoven cotton is finished with mini white lotus bud bootis in an original Dhakai Jamdani weave. The contrast is clean and elegant, and because the motifs are woven into the fabric, not printed, they sit with a subtle texture that feels premium up close. Natural dye gives the green a richer, more organic depth, the kind that looks different in daylight vs evening, in the best way. With a fine 100/120 tread count, it stays breathable and light, but still falls beautifully when tailored. Jamdani is craft-first, always. This fabric takes roughly 2 meters per 8-hour artisan shift, with each booti placed by hand on the loom. And a detail we take seriously: this fabric is woven from start to finish by the same artisan. That continuity is why the weave feels cohesive and why the final cloth has a certain integrity you can’t replicate in segmented production.
